The Coalition of Higher Education Assistance Organizations (COHEAO) recently published a whitepaper on financial literacy programs aimed at college students and recent graduates. The paper addresses the effectiveness of financial literacy education, how to start a financial education program from scratch, and related topics. Included among the recommended resources is the 2011 Pension Research Council volume, Financial Literacy: Implications for Retirement Security and the Financial Marketplace, edited by Olivia S. Mitchell and Annamaria Lusardi.
